Always had good crowds as long as I can remember, the fact they get higher crowds in the championship with Rafa than in the prem with schteeve is weird like.

Many are tied in with 10 year season tickets aren't they? All jokes aside and I hate them, but you can't knock them for their numbers support wise. Just need to look at the number of clubs who go down and struggle, yet the last twice they have gone down they've took it in their stride and looked as realistically comfortable as you can tbh and will come back up with games to spare. Right I'm off for a wash now.

You've been able to cancel them at any point. Always have been.

If we go up and Rafa walks away due to Ashley then we will indeed be average at best and probably never kick on under his ownership.

However if Rafa stays and is backed (there has been rumblings of Rafa having this confirmed after the disappointment in January) then theres no reason we can't finish in the top half of the table in our first season back, the bottom half of the premier league is absolutely dross and not all that better if at all than the top 10 teams in the championship.

You are dead bottom in one of the worst premier leagues in years

And you're not good enough to even be in that league

I know the ambitions of your own club are merely to finish 17th every season, but its really not breaking the bank to hope to finish 9th or 10th in our first season back with a top quality manager considering the poor standard in the current premier league considering we were 3 points away from doing just that when we came back up last time.

Do I think we have a divine right to do it? No. Do I think its nailed on, absolutely not, but its not beyond the realms of possibility.

Shut the fuck up, man.

Would we get over 35k for a Monday night game in the championship
Very vague question that though. All depends how we're doing in the league surely. They look like winning pretty much every game, so if we do as well as they're doing in the championship, there's no reason why not.

No doubt our average will drop if/when we go down, but for me, I go to watch and support sunderland, not who we're playing. That'll be the same for probably 25k other die hards.

Errmm, because they are winning games?

If we were winning games and top of the league then we'd be getting sell outs, no fucker wants to watch a team get fucke.d every week.

Mag in the office #36889

Him "Cracking Result last night"
Me "Really? Didn't know you were playing. Did you go?"
Him: "No, don't go to games"
Me: "Oh, so you watched on TV?"
Him "Forgot it was on to be honest. Watched the Sutton game"
Me "Right"

This was 5 mins after he told another lad in the office he was a massive Newcastle fan

Good idea having us condensed into one thread. Top modding.

It would depend on the circumstances. If a win would take us top we would.

So what's the catch or even the point of having one in the first place?

Price freezes.
