Newcastle ufc (May 2019)

The division 3 obsession with the Strawberry is odd. Old men real ale enthusiasts, and the usual batch of Chinese tourists on a matchday. No lads or lively match attendees would consider it. Especially if it became a mosque.

Chinese tourists?! Fuck off man. It’s right next to stowell Street. I’m not denying probably you have a few Chinese fans given Newcastle have a Chinese community but I’m doubting many are flying owa from Beijing to take in Rafas bus parking

Owt happened yet? Confident mag at work is losing his confidence in all this so hasn’t been updating us every few minutes today.

Unconfident mag has gone about his day as normal.

This is actually a genuinely intriguing mystery.
Looking in from the outside I think it will happen as I don't know why this Arab group would go to all this trouble of announcing it all if they weren't confident. Also Mike Ashley or nufc would surely have denied it all by now if it was a load of shite

As for the Arab group themselves I've no idea how rich they are or how much they will put in to nufc

If I'm being honest if it was us I would be very excited as I think most safc fans would be

There's no gaurentees in football but if this comes off I think the mags will have a decent chance of doing well they have the foundations in place good manager big crowds all its missing is decent players

Indeed, eventually they will get it right at Newcastle. This may be the time

I am not itk but it feels genuine, this is Newcastles time unfortunately lads. Black and white bastards

We've already seen that when the bidders go public, big Mike sacks them off.

As soon as Mandy (you came and you left withoot taking) and Kenyon went to the press, Mike took his sondico ball home.

Not a dig marra but, Chinese tourists claim cannot be dismissed due to the proximity of Stowell St

Safc fans on here who are mocking or refusing to believe it are a bit naive imo
Unfortunately this

That will be us in 10 years time

Let's be honest here they are a very well supported club mainly because of the fact that they are a one big city club with not much competition for support from Berwick to South tyneside

They are an attractive proposition for that reason alone

Must admit I always thought they'd struggle to get a massive buy out because they don't own their own ground and, as far as I know, don't have much in the way of land that they own either. Makes expansion fairly difficult, especially with the ground slap bang in the city centre. Football-wise you'd be buying a big club with a big support but there's a fair few of them around. If genuine it'll be interesting to see how they do mind, much though I'll obviously hope they win nowt. I do know that nowadays to make money you need Champions League and they're probably half a billion or more away from that, so they need to hope there's just a random rich bloke with more money than sense who fancies trying to replicate man city and Chelsea for a laugh.

They spend a small fortune in the club shop, have seen that myself. But yes, you are probably right, unlikely to have flown in especially for the likely 0-0 extravaganza that follows.

I doubt the top 6 are bricking it ... I doubt the clubs just below are  yet on here some are going on like they’re going to be top 6 contenders without a takeover even happening yet
