Can any of those on this thread that seem to definitively know this bloke’s worth, intent and ability explain what actually happened with Liverpool thing?

Surely it sets some alarm bells ringing? Or was it not real or just a big misunderstanding?
£18 billion give or take.

Sponsor a training ground, rename a stand, will be easy to get money in for player purchases. The blueprint has been set and Man City and PSG.

Does not matter to me but the sycophants in the media will be self-abusing on a large scale. Watch the Monkey Hanger next season, then that Quinn fat bloke, our Dawn on Look NUFC etc oh and the Custard twins. Sorry Custis brothers.

Well things don't always go to plan in football so we shouldn't get worried just yet but I think we will have to prepare ourselves for what could be similar to when Hall took over as this now looks like it's happening.

Yes of course I would. Some serious burying of heads in the sand going on here.
I’m not burying my head marra. Fecks sake I worked in Newcastle when they had Keegan Cole et al. We had 17,000 and Mick Buxton. Me and my son were season ticket holders and I would fight my corner with any “ Entertainer”.
We got through that with our heads held high just like we will with this scenario.

Those same clubs that are now being investigated for it. PSG are under investigation as FIFA claim they're sponsorship isn't worth what they're receiving for it. It doesn't add £168m benefit to the country.

They're definitely starting to clamp down on it all

At the minute we are in league 1 and them the Premier league, it could never have been a better time for us for this to happen if it had to happen......At the minute they are not even on our radar so really couldnt give a shit what they are doing or what money they are getting.......I will absolutely guarantee within a short period of time they will be back to smashing up the Bigg Market and punching horses, its what they do.

Same mate, was based there 1991 to 2009, the years when they were spunking money and in the champions league made not a jot of difference to me then so it certainly won't if it happens again. Their fans are largely clowns, that will never change.
