Newcastle Manager Situation

And a slightly worse defensive problem he isn't a f***ing magician

Let's hope so

Best decision the club has made for about 15 years. Proper manager compared to the absolute shite who have been there previously. No guarantee of anything and it could all go pear shaped quickly but at least we have a shot at it now.

It will be interesting if Ashley gets any credit for this appointment?

What you think about his get out clause if you go down?

Not in the slightest bit concerned about this.
He has 7 days to work with that squad before the derby. Not nearly enough time to make any meaningful difference, especially with all their injuries.
Their balloon will be well and truly popped on Monday.
It's in our own hands, beat the mags and Norwich and we'll be ok.

It's becoming a 'fact' that we only won derby matches by sacking managers

They will get twitchy if they lose to us. It just means the fans will turn on their players, more than the manager. At least the players had an easier ride, when smiling Steve was getting the abuse.

:lol::lol: are you really comparing Rafa with Wilkinson? Wow that's desperate. Even if he may not have won a major title (except the Europa League) he nearly won the league with Liverpool in 09, and actually won the Coppa Italia and came 3rd with Napoli which is decent. Had Real ticking over in the CL too and was only 2 points off top when sacked.

This is a desperate thread
He finished 3rd and then 5th with Napoli, having spent more money there than every single previous Napoli manager combined. He took over a team that finished 2nd and reached the CL quarter finals, spent shit loads and took them lower and lower the longer he was there. He also took over an Inter side that had won the CL the year before, and finished 7th with them!
No I'm not comparing him, you've made an equivocation fallacy. I compared the relevance of success that both of those managers had, demonstrating that because somebody won a title in 1874 with a far superior team, doesn't mean they'll be an excellent choice for this job now. Advocaat had won the Europa League, with a worse team than Benitez - and the Chelsea fans hated Benitez. Dick kept us up mind :), but would have certainly taken us down this year.

Not really infact he clearly doesn't understand because he didn't mention 52 million screaming jawdees
Was having a peep at toonplastic earlier. Poster on there called "howay" was hoping they'd mention all the clichés just so he could come over here, and see us frothing about it. Odd user name that. I wonder if he uses a similar one over here ;)
