Newcastle Manager Situation

Still think its an odd choice for a relegation battle. Not sure he has ever been in this position.

Twitter reporting that the Newcastle board are only meeting Rafa face to face today for the first time - can't see him being in the dugout on Monday. Probably take the easy route of "watching from the stands"

I still think it will only be until the end of the season.

didn't they already state that any new manager wont be appointed in time to manage monday?

He failed at Napoli, he failed at Real his last success was Liverpool in the champions league and I dare bet he'll fail at the mags !

No defence no real strike force they've got a really good chance of going down !

He won cups at both Napoli and Chelsea. Having said that im not sure he's the right appointment at this time.

This is not good.

If it is Benitez, as expected, then he's a very good manager. Some say he's used to dealing with top players but at the end of the day he is a top manager and a great appointment for them if he is the one they get.
As its effectively 2 from 3 to go down then this not good news for SAFC.

From what exactly?

Let's hope that's March the 20th ;)
