Newcastle Manager Situation

The fact that the talent of Dummett is unavailable has apparently made Benitez have second thoughts.

How can Tufty possibly take charge of the Leicester game? I mean seriously, how does he carry on with this going on behind the scenes?

How can you decide to replace the Manager on Monday and him still be there on Friday? And people say we're badly run.....

Like this comment on there.

If this move breaks down due to the boards incompetence than they had better get the hard hats out for the derby game.Hell hath no fury like a toon fan scorned!

Why would the fans be furious at the club if Benitez turns them down? Although don't answer, it's the f***ing mags.
That's what I was thinking. He goes on about the way it's being handled, the way what is being handled?.It's the media doing all this, all the club has done is not sack the manager like the fans want.

Some of those comments man, I see they have picked up on my scoop too. @janey
Zero hour contracts

Downtown Abbey, a play.
Scene: A Cathedral on a hill.

Ashley: ” hello Rafa”
Benitez:” hello Mike , thanks for seeing me”
Ashley: ” no problem, biscuit ? ”
Benitez: ” it’s about your football club”
Ashley ” what football club? ”
Benitez: ” this one, Newcastle United ”

Silence. Uneasy shifting of nylon shell suit against fishing stool (£2.99 in sale )

Flickering light bulb glimmers in distant mind.

Ashley: (shouts ) ” Charnley”
Charnley : ” yes boss ”
Ashley ” we don’t have a football club in the store portfolio do we ?”
Charnley” well I took the decision to experiment with running a football club as part of your Gallowgate sports Direct mega store ”
Ashley: ” is it any good ? ”
Uneasy silence, puddle on floor.

Ashley to Charnley : ” you’re on zero hours now boy”
Ashley to Carr ( standing quietly in corner ) ” you too ”
Ashley to Moncur ( standing quietly in other corner) ” here’s the keys to my caravan at Skegness – enjoy ”

Ashley turns to Benitez ” now about this football club thing , do you think there’s more margin by turning the food concessions into Tapas bars ”

Benitez : exit stage left

Play ends.
Lights go down all over the Toon.
Muted applause ( Sports Direct employees )

Alternative ending
Ashley ” ok Rafe , you’ve got a deal ”
Play ends.
Newcastle win 5-0 against Mackems.
Lights come on all over the world.
Birth rate in Newcastle goes up in nine months time.

Players, especially the current crop at Newcastle, will take any chance to slack off.

They must be in the changing room wondering what the fuck is going on at that club.

And waiting for yet another clown to come marching in with his 'vision'

but thats what being a Sunderland supporter has been all about the whole of my life......not knowing what the hell is going on with whom ,where ,what and why?

I've just had a look on that internet thingy and I reckon I'm right

I can't find any PL club, with a new manager after March, getting out of the bottom three alive.

'New manager bounce' my arse biscuits.

A football manager on the f***ing board man... I think that stupid idea is whats prolonging the inevitable

Latest quote I've seen.

"If Newcastle are unable to appoint Benitez before Monday and McClaren's axing is confirmed coaches ."

You just cut the cord don't you? He's gone, everyone knows it, so if you can't get your new man in you still have to get rid of Tufty and get a caretaker. Insanity to have a dead man walking still turning up to work, can you imagine training today? Can you imagine him trying to put the marking schemes etc etc for Leicester in the drills in training?

Long may it continue.
