Newcastle Manager Situation

Unless they have spent the 3 days looking for a successor and didnt want to sack him till they came to an agreement with someone else.

I'm thinking this... Tufters is on the board... if he was being sacked, it would be at a board meeting with Arshley... not in a one-on-one with Charnely...

He may potentially be in charge for Leicester, but there's no chance at all he'll be in charge for the derby.

It would be harsh to sack him on the back of an away defeat to the league leaders. The longer it is left, the less chance of having a new manager in place.

It is the new manager bounce that worries me the most. We should win this one but I don't think there is too much between the teams so any tiny margin could make the difference.

No it wouldnt, Ashley isnt on the board, I don't know how many times people have to be told this

I didn't know that, just assumed ashley was on the b0aord..

I suppose Charnely could sack him as manager and he still keeps his board seat... altho it seems a bit odd.

Terms not yet agreed but discussions nearing conclusion with Sid James
Sky sports studio are editing library footage as I post ready for announcement. Friend of mine at Sky reckons it's a done deal with talk of a £3m fee for rest of season.

Beach balls at the Derby just to welcome Rafa?
Got to see his face in the interviews when Leicester first, then we stuff them - wave the bonus goodbye.

I agree mate. Hopefully he gets a stay of execution, but he'll be gone sooner or later and their results will pick up.

Unless they're waiting to get an agreement with his replacement?

For all the talk of Benitez and Moyes I can't help thinking that Ashley will.go left field and surprise everyone

you mean a foreigner ?
yeah, would be just like him.

Really ?? £3 million quid for two months = £18 million a year !!!!!!!!

This might not be good news

#nufc are using an intermediary to find a new manager rather than relying on MD Lee Charnley. He is overseeing search rather than conducting
