I'll be gutted if he gets binned like. The fact they're having a meeting makes me hope they're giving him an ultimatum.

The thing is, we want McClaren to stay but we also hope they get humped off Leicester. It's unlikely that both things can happen and he is still in charge for the derby.

That's a fair point. If they keep him for Leicester and then bin him it'll be an interim manager to take the derby most likely, ie someone like Carver :lol: (didn't realise he'd left them completely :oops:
 
I think this. Surely he wouldn't have been allowed to take three days of training then summoned for a meeting with the MD?

...or the targets they wanted to replace him said no or demanded pounds of flesh... if it was going to be the sack, they'd just do it at board level, no??... rather than soft-serve a directors meeting.

Since he's on the board so not sure Charnley would have the power??
