Newcastle Manager Situation

if they were going to sack him then surely they'd have done so by now.
Unless they're waiting to get an agreement with his replacement?

For all the talk of Benitez and Moyes I can't help thinking that Ashley will.go left field and surprise everyone

Will go this afternoon unfortunately. Hope they are dissapointed with their new manager, whoever that will be.

Yep not looking good now.

Best we can hope for is a caretaker manager in (Simpson maybe) and the new manager saga to rumble on another few weeks at least

Special report from the Mags training ground on SSN. Tufty is meeting with Lee Charnley in the next hour ......
Min 4 points from next 2 games or he is sacked. That's the kind of ultimatum we want to see

I hope they are thrilled, but he turns out to be shite.

The thing is, we want McClaren to stay but we also hope they get humped off Leicester. It's unlikely that both things can happen and he is still in charge for the derby.
If Carlsberg did footy results then I'd take a well fought 2-0 with a last minute goal from Leicester and a wrongly disallowed Mags goal that would have made it 1-1 just seconds earlier. I say hard fought but more to do with the fact Leicester had an off day and played shite so it gives them 'false' hope that they played well ;)

Maybe yes. Whoever it is then I can only see it on a temporary basis. I mean if Benitez or moyes were to take it then they wouldn't want to manage in the championship if they go down.

Can't get my head around them not sacking him after Saturday. Surely then a new bloke has a longer spell with the players before the Leicester game. Unless of course they are writing that game off and starting with us. I still think a new manager bounce is about having a decent platform to work with. They are woeful at the back, nothing will change that.

Haway Tufty I'm behind you, fight this :)

I so hope your right, even more so our game. I'm getting no work done now mind, that's one thing for certain
I honestly don't think it will matter who's in charge. Leicester's pace will kill them on Monday and then there's us, which is massive for them not only in league terms but in breaking the cycle of consecutive defeats . They will be bricking it more than we will ;)

Benitez has been hopeless for seasons now would a manager who's failed in his last few jobs with top class players!! Be a good fit for a side that survived on the last day last season and likely to be in the mix on the last day again ?

Who is the better manager out there? Moyes is good but also failed in last two jobs, then there is the likes of Pearson and Sherwood who aren't great. Benitez the best available but I'd be surprised if he went there

Couldn't agree more but it's the mags and they do nothing straight forward :)

When it comes to derbies I have cornered the market in bricks

Not sure he did that much wrong at Real Madrid to be honest. That clubs a joke. Won 17 of his 25 games only losing 3 times.
