Love a good merge me like - I genuinely thought the Ben Arfa comment from @Sima was like 'I had steak pie and chips' to show his disinterest on attendance discussions, I was quite impressed.

They're f***ing tedious like (I understand the irony with my sig of years ago) but not half as tedious as the discussion about 'strongholds' when the percentages get rolled out.

f***ing census nonces.

He's f***ing mental man, 9 teams in the Prem have higher attendances than Sunderland this season and guess what every one comes from a city with a larger population than Sunderland.
2 teams in the Championship have higher attendances than Sunderland this season and surprise, surprise they also have a larger population than Sunderland.
But it's nowt to do with catchment areas it's just that "The folk of Wearside aren't as into watching live football as others"

Class isn't it.
Logic totally out the winda.

Give you Cabaye as PSG are a good side but as I said don’t be giving me Mickey Mouse leagues. Also Santon and Simpson as well.

Ben Arfa barely played man. It’s like saying Jimmy Montgomery won the European cup because he sat on bench for Forest.

Same with Remy he barely played for Chelsea.

Finishing 5th in France! Haway man.

That side wasn’t exactly blessed with superstars however let’s just say it was. Who brought in those players? Does Pardew not deserve credit for that or do we ignore him and give it all to super scout whilst excusing Rafa for poor buys as he ‘didn’t have enough funds’?
It's well known that during Pardew's reign Carr was chiefly responsible for identifying targets and the board were in charge of finalising the deal (or not). Also, the market has obviously changed, where once we could sign Cabaye for a nominal fee, what would £5m get you now? Manquillo?

So when the board are reluctant to spend the going rate, Benitez has to identify players further down the shopping list, who obviously won't be as good.

So Benitez should really have kept Carr rather than wanting total control?

World class man who needs a scout :lol:

When Pardew signed the players.....erm nur it was Carr.

When Benitez signs the players......erm nur he’s had nee money to spend, his hands are tied, erm net spend.

They should just change the name of the club to Rafacastle united. They seem to love him more than the club itself.

Was Rafa who wanted rid of Carr too as he wanted total control
