Not if you're blowing £12 million on a kid from Norwich ....

... but they are available for half that price
 This is such a bizarre argument. Nobody is saying there aren't diamonds in the rough. But they're rare. Which is why the going rate for top players isn't £750k and it's also why Mahrez went for £60m to Man City.

And every manager has good and bad signings. Even the greats like Ferguson got it wrong on occasion. Benitez has got some wrong and some right, so what's your point?

You said they weren't available, I proved quite easily there are players like this.

I keep hearing that Benitez is a good judge of a player but his record at Newcastle is quite average.

In fact, when he was appointed, it was claimed that he had great contacts and would bring in players like this.

Not a bizarre argument in any way tbh, no idea why you're laughing at it tbh.

The way you all go on as though you are Rafa’s PR man is embarrassing. It’s like a religious cult. Cardiff are 2 points behind you with a significantly inferior squad.

Because it's ridiculous to suggest that it's realistic to build a good team on a small budget. That's why I'm laughing Reiver, and if it was a Newcastle fan who'd said it, you'd be laughing too.

But all Benitez' signings are shit, I read it on here.

Aye fatty the miracle worker eh, not been at the shit tip for 3 years yet and has spent £150M on player fees ffs.

and yet its a self-proclaimed miracle he performs if he keeps them up? He's one of thr best paid Managers in Europe and is playing them all like a fiddle. He knows fine well he can do no wrong.

Leicester, Bournemouth, Burnley and Watford have all done so on less than huge budgets the last few seasons.

You're just saying things without stopping to think for a minute now ...

They'd lick the shit off his shoes cos he was once a prestigious manager. Anyone without his back catalogue would have been hounded out by them long ago, serves up negative shite week in week out.
