Tbf he’s making a profit - as the mags keep telling me - so not sure why he would drop his price.

I really don’t understand the beef the mags have with him. Football in general really. He’s running a profitable business. Whereas as others in the PL are recklessly spending and being bank rolled by individuals who could walk away at any time. It should be those owners getting the grief of the nations media imho, not a cautious (and competent) owner
Good post Mike!

Give your head a wobble they look a much better side already under Silva than they ever did under Hippoheed at least they have a go no matter who they play against

I dread to think of the shite him and his mate Walsh would’ve signed in the summer
Lies, damned lies and then there’s statistics!

Football is a results business and Silvas have you lot mid table having been put to bed by any of the top sides and then dumped out the cup by a team who couldn’t even beat the mags at home!

The problem is the Everton fans made such a song and dance about Allardyce (embarrassed themselves actually) that they can’t be seen to show any signs of discontent already over Silva so are having to put a brave face on it.

At least the main team in scouseland is flying the flag high

I think their supporters are like us, the difference is that their lunatic fringe is more lunatic[/QUOTE]

Are we even that lunatic? I think that has been kicked out of us over the years. Not that we don't care but it's more of a "meh" now, or has been

I know they are our rivals.

But honestly, rivalry aside, they really are the most moronic, hysterical, attention seeking arsehole set of fans in the land.

Keep up the good work lads, it’s entertainment at its best!

Your defending of him is embarrassing tbh I watched plenty of them under him and the football was horrid absolutely shite.

They might finish midtable again but at least they’ll do it attacking manner (just look at Sigurdsson under a manager who knows how to use him also Keane looks a better defender than he did under Hippoheed ) and not playing ultra defensive away to the likes of West Ham in a dead rubber game

Reality seems to be settling in with one or two of them....

Although that is increasingly fading as four of the last five games have been against Palace, Leicester, Brighton and Southampton, managing no goals and only two points against this quartet of clubs:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Worth noting both Palace and Southampton both had really good chances to win the respective games

Defending a bloke who took over a side who were in bottom half of table when took over to then provide top 6 form for rest of season. I embarrassing that mind

Oh and by the way Silva has spent about 80m to finish mid table as well.

Could just have imagine Fat Sam & Walsh’s summer list

Albrighton for £30m
Drinkwater for £30m
Lascelles £60m

Then a few more million on some African players with pally agents

Compared to £80m on quality in Richarlison, Bernard, Mina, Digne and Zouma/ Gomes on loan thank God for Brands and Silva
