As I have said newcastle have overchieved in recent years but it is built on sand by overborrowing during the Hall and shepherd years together with the launch and rise of the Premier League. They got lucky when Ashley bailed them out. If Ashley had done due diligence he would have ran a mile. They got lucky and now they are hoping to get lucky again by finding new owners.

So I’ve posted links proving that Newcastle are a bigger club.

Anyone got any links to say otherwise? Or are we all just going by gut instinct now?

Must say really i expected the mags to kick on under rafa when they got him, I thought he'd do what wolves manager has done buy a load of players from his homeland or clubs he has been at and have a real go. The fact is he has spent roughly the same as the wolves manager and he spent it on shite from bad teams from prem or players from the championship. You don't see any news about wolves fans crying on the telly every five minutes about how evil their owners are.
