Currently discussing the different ways in which the fanbase can disrupt Ashley’s main business - SD. This is the one business interest he really cares about - that’s the one business interest that he is most protective over. That’s his vulnerability.

There’s no way Shearer goes for less than Shevchenko if they are both at the level they were when they were transferred adjusted for today.

Saw an article about a year ago where the table was more or less the same. They explained how it was calculated.
Something about how much the british/world record is now, vs how much it was broken by, or where the next closest fee was that followed.
Shearer to Blackburn still makes the list at £65m, but then 2 years later they beat the record with Chris Sutton for £5m but sutton is only in the list at 68m., but Shearer to Newcastle almost doubled the previous record (Collymore 8.5m),
Ferdinand to Man United beat the previous record considerably, so goes in high and Shevcheno was more than Ferdiand only a few years later when not many other fees were going close to that.

I've not explained it too clearly, but hopefully with my half arsed explanation and looking at the fees vs actual fees and time when they took place it might make sense

:lol: Christ alive you're not even subtle any more. Nobody can be this stupid and yet to pretend to be, for what, the benefit of these other clowns? Grown men who'd rather cling to their partisan bias so tightly it forces them to conjure nonsense, than have an actual adult conversation? Is it not a bit daft? I mean I am thoroughly enjoying the fact your club is in the third tier of English football, but I wouldn't be so childish as to rearrange reality in an attempt dismiss your chances of promotion, defend previous owners/managers or suggest that your current manager isn't up to the job. It's just baffling to me.

Rivalry is one thing, but the resolute adherence to an obviously flawed party line is bewildering. It's like Brexiteers who ignore all the evidence that Brexit is, and will be, a shitshow for this country because they "won" that f***ing silly referendum.

Prove it.

Lascelles, Dummett, Diame, Perez, Yedlin, off the top of my head.

I mean, I know that you'll immediately dismiss them because they're not even good Premier Leagues players at the moment, but it's frankly absurd to suggest that they're not better than they were when we signed them.
Log off man :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Diame had already done ok in the PL in the past he hasn't improved as a player you idiot hes just reached a level hes been at before every now and again
Yedlin is just as shit now as he was playing for us
Guess you're saying Perez after his end of season purple patch ? Just think that might have had nowt to do with Bouncy

Fair play to the fat man improving Dummett from hopeless to shit/average as for Lascelles fair enough he can take some credit

Can someone good at maths work out how many people would be needed to form a human chain around the 800,000 square foot Sports Direct warehouse?

That’s before they picket the 700 shops across the U.K. and Europe and crash the company website... :lol:

I had thought they might be sensible. I overestimated them.
