It is predominately the same shit every season - Leicester were a once in fifty year fluke.

As others have said, I’ll journey back to the PL but hope we don’t do a ‘Mags’ when we get there.

We get turned over by tin pot teams from the south, north, east and west in the championship and possibly League 1 yet.
 
Obviously we know first hand how being under the ownership of a less enthused figure feels but make no mistake, the way they've gone on this off season, a lot of the fans have utterly embarrassed themselves the way they've gone on. Especially the belittling clubs with far more recent success and this feeling of them being owed something is ridiculous never mind bringing it up in the house of commons. Speechless
 
They need to accept that they aren’t part of the so called ‘big six’ and that they have probably reached their level by finishing mid table, the Premier League is dead as a competition.

I think I realised we would never be able to compete for anything other than mid table obscurity when O’Neill failed.

It’s exciting being a Sunderland fan at the moment because we’ve got new owners and a feeling that we are just starting out on an exciting journey, once we get back to the top flight and it’s mission accomplished it’ll be a little underwhelming tbh because we know that there is no way we can compete.

It’s a joke of a situation when you’ve got 14 clubs in a league who are there just to make up the numbers and essentially just be canon fodder.
 
I couldn’t give two fucks about them either way - I genuinely don’t think about them.

This isn’t a dig at the OP like just it’s just the way I see things.

I was saying to a mate the other day that I never thought I would say it but I don’t care about being in the premier league - we’ve had that much misery over the last few years I’m excited about the prospect of winning games again win a likeable group of players playing for our club.

Who gives a fuck about Newcastle man
