34k is the lowest pl gate I can find Newcastle having. Positive we have never had below 30k in the pl and like I said the only club to do so

Maybe manure if there stadium was getting upgraded as someone said. The rest could have maintained gates over 30k but never

Your right, you just all sit in an empty stadium in silence and apathy while you slide out the pub league. I can't beging to imagine the hell if we were somehow in that state, all of the above and 10x more would of happened

Expectations way beyond our club can deliver? We only want to be the best of the rest around 7th or 8th place and stop losing cup games on purpose. Not too much to ask considering we are one of the best supported clubs in the UK and before Ashley came we were regulars in Europe and had one of the top 20 turnovers in Europe.
The last time you were anywhere near the position we were in, you'd been getting crowds less than half of our lowest.
you mags have a very selective memory.

Its true. Manure had 28/29k for a couple of pl games. Chelsea have had a lot of gates lower. Liverpool have had under 30k too. Our lowest is something like 30,600
So.
I don't dispute that. Even though it's full of plastics and tourists.

Never mind how and why all I said is NUFC are the only club to never have had a PL gate under 30k and that's true.

So.
- Newcastle have finished as the Football League's best supported club on no fewer than 10 occasions, whereas Sunderland have never finished as the League's best supported club:

Man Utd 34;
Everton 13;
Arsenal 12;
Newcastle/Chelsea 10;
Aston Villa/Liverpool 7;
Spurs 6;
Man City 3.
So.

But they've always had 52k screaming Geordies at every game...except for several recent Premier League season's where the buzz had gone and they didnt

And you’d have still failed to get rid of Ashley you sackless gobshite :lol:

Gan put a cassock on.

Ignore him, he accused me of being a nosey neighbour because I posted a link from twitter, mind it was about 3 weeks ago. He clearly doesn’t do irony, calling me a nosey neighbour as he’s the one on a Sunderland message board. :rolleyes:
And thank you :cool:
Nee bother pet :cool:

Which club matters most to me... my lot.
Which club is second on that list...for lots of reasons, your lot.

If that is an obsession, then fair enough...

No ones obsessed with anyone, were local rivals. I fuckin hate it when people describe it as obsessed.
Then you're blind.
There's a line that gets crossed when local rivalry "banter" becomes so intense, so frequent that 50% of your Newcastle fanzine articles are about Sunderland. This is entire articles, not just a few words or sentences.
At that point it definitely becomes an obsession.

Do you know what obsession means ? It's almost impossible to be 'obsessed about a team you don't support.

Of course it is and I've just given you a concrete example of it.

"Obsession. An idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind.
plural noun: obsessions
"he was in the grip of an obsession he was powerless to resist""

No part of the word "Obsession" has anything to do with liking something. ffs. Maybe you should look up the word.

You're being a bit slow there Joe :lol:

For a magazine that is designed to talk about Newcastle United, having half your articles about Sunderland certainly is into the territory of obsession.

Just like if 50% of threads on here were about Newcastle... that would be too.
