Gerroutofit lad. There were whole sections that had less than 1 seat in 10 occupied. The images are out thete.

I'm not surprised either. There aren't many teams that would if they had put up with what you have had to. It is not owt to be embarrassed by, why should you keep going if its consistently horse shit.

Well my birth certificate has Sunderland, County Durham on it.

Just because we were forced into a Tyne & Wear farce to help subsidise and rebuild a delapitated Tyneside, doesn’t mean Sunderland aren’t the team from County Durham.
 
Must of been a long time ago that though. Always been in Tyne and Wear as far as I know

If there actually was 28k then I would say that is good in your circumstances. However on the photos I seen of the stadium it was nowhere near half full as most on here commented on as well.
