And "you lot" would be the same if you had gone through what we had in my opinion
Conveniently erased from their tiny minds.
We had 2 relegations recently and still got 50,000 plus in the championship. We wouldn't be so shit and small time to finish bottom of the championship to compare to though
I think that was 37,000 against Reading in 2009. Our lowest league crowd and it wouldn't drop much lower than that, certainly not down to 18,000 or so like you had this season.
We lost our first 2 games last season in the championship and still had over 50k
You lost 16k for your first game, yes your crowds went up afterwards but you won the f***ing league man not finish bottom for the second consecutive season. We had 2 relegations recently and still got 50,000 plus in the championship. Piss off on a Mags board with your absolutely shit patter man
Shit patter? More like facts

And as for 18'000 I tink you'll find we averaged 28k.
Under similar circumstances I doubt you'd get many more than that yourself.
Or you could admit you never had it anywhere near as bad as what we have had and commend the fans that went and averaged around 28k.Shit patter? More like facts

You go on like you daft bastards have had a hard time, you wouldn’t understand what a hard time is.
Hold on a minute, aren’t you the plastic mag from Durham who doesn’t attend matches?

So
A/ You admit that you haven't been through what we have and
B/ You are now making up figures to suit your own agenda
Dear me, you are an absolute simpleton aren't you?
Official figures maybe, but you, me and anyone with working eyeballs know that this figure was bollocks.
We aren't bad enough to ever go through what you have to be fair.
I've made up no figures just that your stadium wasn't half full which most on here also said and anyone with eyes could clearly see
Yeah even if we were somehow bottom half championship I still think we would be around 33k plus but we won't know for sure. Newcastle are the only club not to have had a premier league gate under 30k though.
Most people on this board were saying there was only around 18-19k at most your home games this season
Your a one city team with a massive catchment area. Its nowt to write home about.
North of Newcastle theres nothing.
True. As is Sunderland though.
Sunderland with Newcastle North and Middlesbrough south of it?
Don't let the facts get in the way of a Durham mag bullshit parade mate
Still a one club city with a big catchment area though. The people north of Newcastle could just as easy support Newcastle. Anyhow it's getting a bit of a pointless debate that. Both did have cracking support unrivalled for our lack of success.
Based on what? Either you are telling me you could see the whole of the stadium and counted every single person or you are jumping on another made up Mag fairytale to go with
50,000 mags in the Clockstand against Gillingham
Blue Pop and Cheesy Chips are the only things consumed in Sunderland
Etc.
So you admit you were wrong on the first point, apology accepted
On the second point, please tell me how "anyone with eyes could clearly see" that there was, what, 30,000 empty seats you say? I'd love to know how anyone can categorically state this as fact...
