couldn't give a shite if Benitez spends £300 million, all i know we are mid table, very comfortable and its good to go to a game not expecting to get humped in the biggest league in the world , net spend etc etc are for those to pick over and clutch at straws as ever.

He is right to an extent. Players will sign more readily for Newcastle all things being equal.
But that has its downside when you end up signing pricks like Warren Barton.
