said the same last season too. Rafa sets them up negatively to prove a point that he is under resourced. When they actually decide to attack they look fairly capable and likely to score.

the daft mags just dont see how he plays them all.

i honestly think he is trying to get sacked. he must think he is in the twilight zone, and wants out as quick as possible, whilst retaining credibility and not having to pay to get out of his contract. i bet he really hates Newcastle and their weird fans. as long as he doesn't over do it, he can navigate his way to the sack and the fans will take it out on ashley, regardless of their league position. then he can go back to spain and forget the whole thing ever happened

"Doing good business in a transfer window is about ending the window clearly stronger than when we started and we believe we have done this. The view we all share is that we have a better squad now than the one that finished tenth last season and all involved have worked tirelessly to make this happen."

The open letter was signed by Benitez, Charnley and Lascelles

There is more to it in the link but I've quoted the above.

Has anyone asked the hoardes, benitez, Lascelles, Charnley as to what's changed?

As anyone asked Rafa why his £9 million Japanese import, does not start, when a player on loan, who helped relegate wba does?

Just saying

Is it not rather obvious why he starts ahead of Muto, no?

Muto was at the World Cup and has never played in the PL before, so you would expect him to take a while to get to grips with the pace of it.

Rondon's a good player also and he was probably WBA best player last season and one of a select few who could look back on their season with their reputation somewhat intact.

Defending Rafa? His constant moaning of lack of funds, then this jaoanese comes in at nine million plus wages, so it will be around 16 million but then chooses to play a forward who clearly failed at premier league level or wba would not be in the championship?

Rafa chose this Japanese, yet has ignored him as a starter. That's my point, it's Rafa being contradictory all the time

How good is it that we're 2 divisions below them, but they still give us every opportunity to laugh at the deluded fuckers

Matter of two weeks ago they released this. Why is the chronicle not referring to this as Rafa was well happy to sign it
