Or its the easy option. Still in place come the start of the season, of course, after the take over is called off by Ashley under the guise of getting sick of the prolonged uncertainty. Too late to sign players or approach a new manager so Redfearn will be given a two year deal in order to maintain continuity.

'Timewasters' to get an airing in the short statement.

Ashley will want survival even if he does stay. Even he won’t be that stupid not to have a manager in place to bring in players,
Surely not?

He lucked out massively with Hughton in 2009.

When you consider the following

  • He doesn’t think the ability of management is of great importance
  • Loves a gamble

I think you already have your answer.

Just cancelled my subscription in protest of Mike Ashley refusing to accommodate Rafa and not spending any of the club's money on football related deals or infrastructure at the club. I urge all fans to do the same.

:eek::eek::lol:

They could always call him neilo redfernio and pretend he’s won summat about 10 years ago.

Time to sell shares in sky then.

Yes a million percent.

Would you rather be where you are now or where we are?

Answer that and then tell me who is the better chairman Ashley or short?

Then tell me if you heard us crying like little bitches about it all, wasting politicians time, holding f***ing pathetic and highly embarrassing protests and starting a petition to have the FA change the rules regarding owners?

Yous think you are this almighty club, but the truth is outside of your Geordie bubble you are complete nobodies that most of the population are laughing at regarding the way you're going on. It's hilarious.
Pretty much spot on.

The NE media blows so much sunshine up Newcastle's backsides and the associated football club that they are real mitigating factors in fuelling this delusion.

Was listening to Radio Newcastle earlier, which if we are to be believed, is radio for the North East. Within 30 seconds of promotions it mention 'Geordies' 3 times as if we are all 'Geordies' in the NE region. The station supposedly covers Tyneside, Wearside and Northumberland so therefore has alienated 2/3s of its listenership. This type of delusion in the media where everyone thinks Newcastle is the centre of the universe is baffling and hails from the Geordie Nashun rubbish by John Hall but has undoubtedly effected a whole generation.

Old friend of mine had a few nice bets on Hughton getting it at 66/1, paid for a treck round South America.

Are they seriously suggesting that owners be forced to invest a percentage of their personal income every year? That's literally insane. If they're asking for a percentage of net profit to be invested, that's different. Sadly for them, in recent seasons, their outgoing transfer fees have been far larger than their retained profits. From another standpoint, our good friend net spend, a net spend of zero implies 100% reinvestment of incoming transfer fees. Their financial illiteracy is staggering.
In layman's terms marra, would you say the football is pretty well ran and they have little to complain about? I need ammo to fire back at them.
