He cost £20 million, a very average price for an average player in the PL, he’s nowt special but did offer something different when he first came , he was quick with an incredible engine, just what we needed.
He now needs to deliver something, the mere fact he was our record signing heaped pressure on him at the time, I like his energy but that alone won’t keep us up.
I agree about he has a face you wanna slap :lol:

... if he was playing for Southampton or Watford you'd be laughing at him.
 
Think Almiron has looked decent from what i've seen of him tbh.

One of the few players in the modern game who actually wants to run at people and try to make things happen.

Too many players these days take the easy option and play sidewards or backwards at every opportunity.

I think he'l score 1 and hit a purple patch, like perez last season

Excellent result & performance Sunday.

He will do worse than Benitez though. Which is why I worry. Benitez got to mid 40 points twice-enough to finish 10 & 13.

Bruce wont get that many.

Subjective & cant be proved until end of season. Will be happy to be proved wrong.

No end product though, open the gates and he will run through them . Remember Allan Brown for us, possibly even Watmore now?

He’s shite, watched him on Sunday and he spent most of the time on the floor wanting free kicks, his dribbling is laughable and technique is patchy. I’d be horrified if we’d spent £24 million on him. Another great Rafa signing.

Be interesting to see what their attendance is tonight as as far as I know there are no boycotts planned.

It'll give a far better indication (than a league game) of how much their fickle fanbase have simply walked away because they aren't doing as well as they believe they have the right to be doing.

I'm going for 25k, tbf Ashley has never took the cups seriously so why should the fans bother to pay their hard earned money
