Anyone seen Paulie Belters latest announcement? -

If I can get 50 million people to download my album for £7 I will buy Newcastle United! Come on people, let's make this happen!!!! #NUFCTakeover #NUFC #SupportOurToon #Newcastle #NORNEW #SoundPet #NCL #realtalk #Geordie

Norwich should be up for it today. First home game of the season and have something to prove after taking a battering at Anfield. The mags are the first winnable game they face.

So unless Norwich are indeed abysmal, standard practice indicates the Mags should lose this (our PL record against newly promoted teams away was dire, precisely because they saw us as a realistic scalp)

Looks like they're about mid table in the Summer 2019 net spend league.

For every club below them they'll have a ready prepared 'yes but' stock answer.

If that fails they'll have 'free advertising' as a standby ...
... conveniently forgetting it was Sports Direct profits that helped Ashley save the club.

Chelsea nailed on for relegation going off that list.

They'll comfortably beat us today.

Yes, SAFC would have lost that very same kind of fixture. Newly promoted momentum, combined with those teams seeing midtable sides as must win fixtures mean they are tough games.

Huddersfield 2 years ago and struggled badly against Cardiff last year, 2nd game of the season both times and their first home games

Ironically the two clubs are in a very similar position.

Both have owners who've lost interest and would happily sell up if they could find someone to pay the price, take on the debts and invest in the infrastructure.

Both have shown a lack of ambition by appointing a manager, with local ties, who'll happily toe the line.

Both clubs are stuck in misshapen grounds that look like a bowl that's been broken and badly glued back together.

Both clubs have financial irregularities hanging over them

But do Chelsea fans shout at shops or sail boats up the Thames? :D

Yes because a small poster is exactly the same at shop shouting, boat party protests, funeral processions, etc

Speaking as a small poster you should know that ...

... and, btw, as a Newcastle supporter you surely have to admire the correct spelling.

Didn't you want to organise a march on Skibo Castle with bagpipes and flags and banners?

I certainly didn't as I was on crutches at the time.

That was to call out the idiots, on this forum, who were endlessly demanding/organising protests that never happened.
Nice.

Only the Mags would merge Sir Bobby Robson with 'boot boys, and crude insults ...

... absolutely zero class.

Fair enough if you didn't mean it seriously and it was just a wind up, but it doesn't come across as much of one. No worries.
