He wants some cloud fairy godmother to come along and kiss it all better.😂😂😂

It's just incredible that they clock on here every morning with explanations of why Ashley's being dishonest and somehow conning the supporters.

He went on TV, said he's no longer interested, won't spend money and wants shot of the club ffs

All they can say in response is that he doesn't want to sell, despite spending money on negotiations with 3 prospective buyers, because it's free advertising.

Their logic is absolutely mental.

They've now had to respond to people calling them deluded by saying, 'We don't demand a club that wins things, we just want a club that tries' .... ah bless.

What the fuck does that even mean, they want a club that tries but doesn't win things?

Of course they want a club that wins things, every supporter does ...

... but even the Mags have finally realised that endlessly claiming they're a big club, with a great history that should be winning things, makes them look ridiculous.

They don't even know why they're protesting any more do they

when you have the likes of bolton and bury, neutrals give zero fucks for their 'sad' plight
sky commentator summed it up at kick off at the arsenal game ''the battle of the big spenders''

I don’t think they do to be honest. It’s just that being an average also ran cannon fodder premier league team doesn’t sit well with the post 92ers. They will continue to stamp their little feet and throw tantrums about the nasty man. One day Ashley will sell up and the next owners will inevitably have to deal with the same shit. They don’t realise their antics have made them pretty much unsaleable to anyone with an ounce of common sense so that sale may be a long time coming. Meantime they will continue to cast around blindly for someone to blame for their situation ( anyone but themselves ) and in doing so continue to force back the boundaries of delusion and general fuckwittery. It is viewed by outsiders as pathetic behaviour considering the plight of bury and Bolton, and rightly so.
Personally I find it hilarious and incredibly entertaining.

It’s simply in their nature to protest.

They did it with Westwood, they did it with McKeag and they’re still doing it now, it’s all they know. When it comes to revolting, no one can touch them.
only chant they had in the 70s and 80s was ''sack the board'', they even hounded joe harvey out who won them their only ''trophy'' in living memory

Have a look at those other three years in between and work out what the balance is.

Income
16/17 - £90.79m
17/18 - £17.57m
18/19 - £43.18m
Total - £151.54m

Expenditure
16/17 - £57.38m
17/18 - £39.87m
18/19 - £53.78m
Total - £151.03m

Balance £0.51m

Like I said. Now apologise.

Ashley will not sanction a significant amount (over £10m) on any player that is 29 or over which will put us significantly in the red.

To most, £16m for your player of the season that has proven a key part of the side isn't much money in this day and age considering what you get for it. I'm willing to bet that the winger that has been bought for over two times that to play centre-forward won't equal it this season.

In other words, selectively look at the years that suit your point? No doubt you will 'claim' to not read this but I'm going to sink your battleship here and blast you out the f***ing water with your 'selective' years and why @Binxy should save his apologies ;)

Firstly we'll just conveniently ignore the 15/16 season when NET spend was around £93m? (I presume you've got your figures from )

Income
15/16 - £97.12m
Expenditure
15/16 - £4.17m

What the mags seem to forget is that you suffered 2 relegations over Ashley's period so this is a big hit on the overall revenue and therefore money you can spend after cost. In 2015/16 you went down even after that £93m NET spend above so it hit the finances even harder! Your revenue dropped by £40m due to that relegation and this meant an overall loss of £41.2m in 2016-17. However the TV money for clubs who stayed in the Premier League went up by £30m. So you probably missed out on an extra £70m revenue that season as your revenue would have went up! The difference between 2016/17 £86m and 2017/18 revenue £178m was £92m! That's why Ashley spend big in 2015/16 to try to get this increased prize money but missed out on at least £70m even revenue would have stayed the same in 2016/17 if you hadn't been relegated!

Anyway, from your selective 2016/17 starting point NUFC lost £41.1m in 2016/17 and made in £18.6m in 2017/18 according to them, they've still lost £22.5m over those 2 seasons.

Assuming they made a generous profit of £30m profit in 2018/19, can you explain how you expect them to spend more money on players when over those 3 years they've made a profit of £7.5m you've selectively chosen? Basic economics means you can't spend money you haven't got unless you want to risk being in the shite!

Is profit meaningless @Sima? 😂😂

When Ashley came in you were losing money so how can you expect to have a NET spend of any kind in those first few years? It took NUFC until 2012 to make a profit as they'd also suffered relegation after the mess Hall/Shepherd left the club in. Ashley paid £140m to take on the debt but obviously wasn't going to pump another £100m into the club while it's in a mess in those early seasons, especially after being hit with relegation.

Do Mags have a jobs (silly question I know!), own a house, have a car, have kids, buy shopping, buy clothes, pay bills etc etc? Because the way some mags bleat on about NET spend is like a kid bleating on that he hasn't had more than his £5 pocket money this week! Also this Mag kid has gone out and spent his £5 on an 8 pack multipack of energy drinks, took them to school and sold them on for £1 each making a £3 profit (players being sold for profit). However, he still wants more money as the kid is oblivious to the household finances and just sees the money he's been given and the money he's got left, his -£3 NET spend 😂😂

I can't be arsed to proof read this but why the fuck do I bother explaining to a Mag why Ashley isn't spending daft and staying within the club's means and this NET spend argument is a load of f***ing shite given the larger finacial picture restricting the 'profits' they could spend and the fact they sold players on for healthy profits? I do it as sometimes it's amusing as fuck to show what shite they can come out with!:lol:

Only an idiot would buy a football club, as MA has realised.

after all the death threats and general shit thrown ashleys way, i cant believe theyre too f***ing dense to rea;lise that when he does finally leave he willleave a huge sting in the tail for fans, maybe selling to a venky type buyer...you can guarantee he WILL have the last laugh somehow

Must be the only club in the world who find there chairman having a good scouting setup and turning profit over players a negative 😂

Ever thought your net spend is low because of Ashley's decision making?

You are arguing a transfer profit of 500k fffs over 5 seasons when you've been relegated in that time as well absolutely laughable 😂

As explained in detail in my last post as to what that 2nd relegation cost them ;) He's talking shite as he's f***ing clueless to the whole financial picture like most of the Mags!

What you going to spend your £5 pocket money on this week @Sima? 😂 😂

Good well researched post mate. Very enlightening.
It won’t have any impact though as they are detached from reality and wilfully thick.
Only an idiot would buy a football club, as MA has realised.
Very true. Anyone with any financial acumen will look at them and run a f***ing mile.

Anyone with any acumen would run a mile, they’d take one look at the protest groups, shop shouters and boat party and think wtf, absolutely no way I would want to be involved with that club, they want a sale but seriously seriously don’t help themselves

I knew the basics of it as it's common sense really but looking at it in detail it just shows how f***ing clueless they are!

Maybe they should edit Jerry Maguire to "Show me the NET spend"

Jesse J should rewrite her song to something like "It's not about the money, it's all about the NET spend"

It’s like the emperors new clothes on steroids. Their lack of self awareness is staggering. Their refusal to acknowledge what is staring them in the face beggars belief. It’s like some kind of mass hallucination.

I'll simplify this post for you @Sima

You've shown your NET spend over those 3 seasons is -£0.51m, what is your NET profit over those 3 seasons?
