I don’t believe you 100% , good night, I won’t check with any posters as you can’t back it up.You lost credibility with the list of 3, utter shite.
Can I ask you what you get from coming on here. Some Sunderland fans are objective in answering you. they try and promote a dialogue.

I have to admit, as in real life, I can't have an objective conversation with a Mag as my base setting is wishing nothing but ill on you. You must have noticed that quite a few on here have a similar attitude. So I ask again, why?

Well that's one team to one of the questions you posed.

Watford bought a 35 year old Ben Foster last season. So they fail on the ‘over 29 exclusion’ rule. They’ve also just bought Craig Dawson. His Age? 29.

Try again.

The samaritans have blocked his number?

I hadn't been on here for a while so opened this thread up on page 108 hoping to see some witty banter but it would seem I have fallen into a vortex of utter shite. Still as deluded as fuck

I genuinely try and stick to this thread, talk shite about us and I will try and give a view from the other side, if you met me in real life you’d have a pint with me, I’m a canny lad really, keep out of the Newcastle thread and you won’t bump into many mags to be honest, if you don’t want dialogue dont quote me , stick me on ignore? Most posts are put on here to get a rise.
I see Gorillacock is back in this thread but hasn't replied to to my response in this thread to his top 10 team for many seasons shite he spouted anarl!

And Sima hasn't replied to my post in reply to his 'ambition' claim in the League Cup draw thread.

Why do you do it man? Fancy posting deluded shite on your rivals board  😂

I will have a look at the question pal.
I don't bother reading most of the shit you post but I'd read that one post and quoted it and even helped you by highlighting the part of the quote in blue about your claim of many top 10 finishes as the reason why I was replying and not much else about your post. I'll highlight your delusional claim again as it was yes we "were" a top 10 side for many seasons before him. You didn't really read my post as it's far from making shit up, it's f***ing fact you weren't there for many seasons before Ashley and it was due to buying success thanks to the money in the developing league but NUFC still overspent  The last paragraph is at all mags, not just you, hence it starting with "The mags":lol:

Aye we all know you had 7 seasons in 2 spells of being a top 10 team, (8 in 15 seasons prior to Ashley) but most know why. It was all down to Hall/Shepherd spending millions in the newly developing and money increasing Premier League/Champions League that allowed this to happen. Leeds and Blackburn for example did exactly the same thing but crashed and burned as they couldn't sustain it. You had Shearer off course and he certainly helped in the 2nd spell of being top 10 scoring 62 League goals over those 3 seasons. NUFC were probably heading the way of Leeds and Blackburn but Ashley bought NUFC without looking fully into the finances.

Even though I said it without looking into the detail, now I have, I'll explain even more as to why you were a bottom half team before the big spending in the 90's and Shearer. Your average position for the 5 seasons you were in Division 1 starting from 1984/85 before the start of the Premier League was exactly 14th, finishing top 10 once in 8th. You were in Division 2 in the 6 seasons prior to 1984/85 from 1978/79. In the rest of the 70's, the average Div 1 position was 12.875 and you finished top 10 twice, 5th and 9th. So 3 top ten positions prior to the Premier League since the 1970's.

In the 40 seasons prior to the PL, the average position is 13.33 finishing top 10 8 times out of 27 seasons or once just over every 3 seasons. Ashley's average PL positions over the 10 seasons has been 12.9 and you've been top 10 on average just over every 3 seasons. So it seems normal service has been resumed regarding average position and top 10 frequency. You've never really been a top 10 team for a long time, apart from those few seasons of 'bought' success that cannot be repeated since the league/finances/money/rules have now completely changed. Even if FFP didn't exist, to attempt to do what NUFC, Leeds, Blackburn did in the 90's now would be financial suicide given the development of the big 6 unless some billionaire was willing to risk £100's of millions to sustain being at the top. As I said, the Mags need to accept they're back where they belong before Hall/Shepherd spending and be grateful they aren't financially in the shit.

Feel free to point out where I made up shit old fella

Absolutely can’t make head nor tail of this young man, as far as I know generally we were a f***ing good side before Ashley came, now we aren’t and never have been, that was my point, you didn’t need to waste ya time with the above marra

I haven’t replied because you’re tedious as fuck and you labour to your point. On the rare occasion that you have one that you havent tediously droned on about in the past, that is.

Plus the whole ‘profit is meanigless’ thing and all...

Aye I've seen that and it's amusing to see that some Mags have also compared themselves to Spurs in terms of 'big' club and growth etc

Anyway, I shot them their hopes of being like Spurs to shit and why it all went wrong for them in the end in reply to Benjaminge in these few posts! ;)

He didn't say anything else again in that thread :lol: I must stop replying to them though as I tend to say a bit too much and it's probably a waste of time as it's probably beyond their understanding. I guess I can't help it when you see some of the deluded shite they come out with and it's amusing to see them squirm! The NET spend argument they come out with gets me every time!:lol:

But playing devil's advocate.....had Levy/Lewis ran/owned the mags could they have achieved the same? Or is geography/economics always working against them (and us, if ever we rise from the Phoenix again)? The author of that article is a good pal of mine and loves winding Mags up. Not quite as much as he loves winding Palace fans up though.

Ah, the 'easy' way out by simply ignoring everything. We know you haven't replied to your stupid ambition claim because you were shit prior to Hall and I showed that in the League Cup thread. I'll make it easy, rather than me showing you why you talk shite when saying things that aren't backed up, tell us all what ambition NUFC had prior to spending big in the developing Premier League like other teanms did. I've a feeling you won't be able to ;)

The fact you're regurgitating the ‘profit is meaningless' (corrected) into it just shows you've got fuck all to say. I'd already explained the context of that comment yet you're just taking 3 words and now it's as if I'm debating with a kid who has ran out of excuses so just keeps repeating shite :lol: Here is my post again to remind you (and others) just how pathetic you are at times as you didn't then reply again once I'd stated what it actually meant!

I've just looked back and I said that in reply to you posting Liverpool's meagre £29m profit to compare to NUFC's £26m over last 10 years is meaningless as in a comparison ya gid clownshoe! You then claimed 'ignorance' in your next post to me saying you didn't know what I was saying!:lol:

My post quoting you is here

What relevance has where we were as a club nearly 30 years ago got to do with where we are today?

If you want to cite that I could mention how we had the ambition to attract an England international to the club in the early eighties before McKeag took control and sold off all of our assets (it was to fund development of the ground it is claimed) or how we had one of the best strikers in the country playing for us in the early seventies and we reached two cup finals or a few years before that we won our last trophy (I know, btw)

That kind of ambition but feel free to take that snapshot of McKeag’s administration as the overwhelming evidence for your point.
