Thought I pointed out yesterday that you can attribute that £122m in it's entirety to this summer and McClaren's summer? You've obviously forgotten.
More lies.
You only made a profit on transfers in one of the last five years so you can attribute it to four years not two.
Not that it makes any difference whatsoever

Have a look at those other three years in between and work out what the balance is.

Income
16/17 - £90.79m
17/18 - £17.57m
18/19 - £43.18m
Total - £151.54m

Expenditure
16/17 - £57.38m
17/18 - £39.87m
18/19 - £53.78m
Total - £151.03m

Balance £0.51m

Like I said. Now apologise.

Ashley will not sanction a significant amount (over £10m) on any player that is 29 or over which will put us significantly in the red.

To most, £16m for your player of the season that has proven a key part of the side isn't much money in this day and age considering what you get for it. I'm willing to bet that the winger that has been bought for over two times that to play centre-forward won't equal it this season.

What about 15/16 and 19/20 seasons or do they not suit your agenda?

Right so now we've went from

"we don't sign anyone 29 and over"
to
"we don't sign anyone 29 and over for a fee"
to
"we don't sign anyone 29 and over for a significant amount (over £10m)

Keep digging that hole mate.

Those are the two seasons I mentioned earlier. You know, the ones that make up the £122m...

You could go through every team in the league and they'll have seasons like that.
Still don't see what it's got to do with signing players 29 and over.

Also I've had a little look at other clubs signings over the last 5 years and very few signed players of over 29 and certainly not for significant sums.

I'm lost now ... is he saying he wants to sign players going into their 30's, enlarge the academy or both or neither.

And, whatever it is, does he believe this is the best place to get his point across.

After all I doubt there's anyone cares what he thinks.

I'm totally lost to the point he's trying to make now like.

It started out about Ashley having a policy of not signing players of 29 and over until I provided evidence of other wise.
Then he keeps moving the goalposts until it's got to the point that I've got no idea what the point is.

Where do the Mags get these facts I wonder.

Do they just fester, on their own boards, until they become evidence that would stand up in court.

It's like the 'fact' that Staveley, Kenyon and the Sheikh were all just pawns in Ashley's fake takeover ploy.

You know, the one where Ashley pretends he wants to sell but actually wants to keep the club as the very best way to advertise his shops.

Must be the only club in the world who find there chairman having a good scouting setup and turning profit over players a negative 😂

Ever thought your net spend is low because of Ashley's decision making?

You are arguing a transfer profit of 500k fffs over 5 seasons when you've been relegated in that time as well absolutely laughable 😂
