You are forgetting the low revenue base. As this grows, more spending can be hadMags will probably finish top half. They’re getting the bounce of spending as Villa, Everton etc have when they did the same. Can’t sustain the spend and comply with FFP.
Heard them singing about Pope being England's Number One tonight. Embarrassing after his recent England performance where he dropped his arse when given his big chance.
I reckon top 5. Big spending in January to swap out the Longstaffs, Frasers and the like and they'll be up there and really tough to beat.
I think he’ll get a big move like he’s more than good enough
You’re a bit of a dipstick never chan
If he hadn’t dived forward he would have.If his arms were longer, he would have saved the shot from Gollum.
Conveniently forgetting Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, BrightonThey’ve had a lot of favourable fixtures
Forest and Bournemouth both promoted at home
Promoted Fulham away (played against 10 men for 80 mins)
Brentford and Everton at home
I think they’ll finish top half maybe top 8 but their start has been very kind.
You could argue Brighton was a favourable fixture as well, so thanks for that one.Conveniently forgetting Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Brighton
You’re absolutely spot on unfortunately.People can make as many excuses as they want, but they've had an excellent start to the season and more concerning for me as an SAFC supporter is that on paper their starting 11 doesn't even look that good and has plenty of room for further improvement, which makes it even more impressive.
Howe is doing a really good job thus far and defensively they look solid, which is always one of the biggest critiques against him.
They look to have a great team spirit too and the fans and club seem united which has also been lacking over the last decade
If they keep adding a player or two like Guimares every window, it would be enough to keep them pushing on.
Top 4 is still way out of reach IMO, but unfortunately I feel we'll have to concede that our biggest fears when the takeover eventually went through, seems to be a matter of when and not if.
