Yes because all gates were opened about15 minutes before the end. Used to run not walk though.By walking out of the ground and all the way round to RE?
2) they were supposed to be in place for Coventry, but given the risk of big queues, the club took the decision to withhold the changes till this weekend.
Got to laugh, like. Christ.
Why didn’t you quote my post?
I think it was a wise decision. There was a risk of large queues prior to Coventry, due to a large number of new season ticket holders. So the club decided not to increase that risk.
What’s so funny about that?
I didn't realise I hadn't tbh. I think it's funny safety is so important it comes second to complaints about queues.
How are they putting queues ahead of safety?
Because they wanted to implement safety measures two weeks ago but didn't because there might be queues?
Queues can also cause a safety issue to be fair see champions league final.Because they wanted to implement safety measures two weeks ago but didn't because there might be queues?
Wanted to but weren’t able to. Having people stuck outside in queues creates it’s own problems.
I’m sure SN will be able to explain the decision if you ask him.

So SGSA is demanding they stop the south stand overcrowding but the club don't bother because people who aren't in the south stand might have to queue 5-10 mins longer to not get in the south stand they've been told they can't enter?
Do me a favour.
Yes what I’m saying is clubs can’t cope with queues our lot can’t even open a ticket office and a club shop why you expecting anything else to run smoothly. And yes queues can cause issues been to plenty of gigs when queues have caused issues also. Hillsborough or queues outside?
The champions league wasn't due to queues but how people were fenced in then attacked btw.
Given how unreliable the ticketing is at the minute, I think there was a real worry that 1000s may have been stuck outside.
Combine that with with everyone being asked to be in at 1145, the game being live on sky (there are penalties for delaying televised kick offs) and the higher risk nature of the fixture, I assume the club wanted to ensure people got in as smoothly as possible. It all comes down to risk assessments etc.
If thats the aisle between U37 and U36, I noticed that. He was about a dozen steps away from the backThe steward was useless in the south stand I’m the back row and had to tell youngins to fuck off before kick off and then after half time I get ya wanna stand with ya mates etx but cram their seats up not others
The stewards are useless too one actually stood on the steps at the back of U37 and gave up moving people after 5 minutes he had no clue what he was doing

Why is the ticketing unreliable?
Why would kick off have been delayed?
Sounds like crushes in the ground (thatbwe are led to belive the SGSA has suddenly got invlobed with after 7-8 years (?) is fine as long as there isn't a queue to get in?
Because there’s a shortage of staff in the ticketing department.
I’ve only noticed a big problem with overcrowding since we came back after covid.
As I said, ask Steve Neil next time you speak to him, I’m sure he’ll be able to explain. I just post what I know.
Why is there a shortage of staff in the ticketing department and why are sunderland fans being treated as second class citizens because of it?
I've spoken to Steve Neil. He's blamed everything on the owners.
I can only guess the shortage is due to the club not employing enough people.
