He’s 25 not 17 likeYoung lad made a terrible error of judgement. He deserves a second chance and hes a good cricketer. fair points about the likelihood of Ashes picks though.

Agreed but if we’re looking at a top class overseas player then the bulk will be at the World Cup. Think most clubs will end up with multiple overseas players over the course of next season. Presumably if he gets an Ashes call up then you can try and nab a replacement post-World Cup. Maybe even Latham again. It's an August/September Ashes series as well, if he does well in the first half of the season he'll be a likely pick.
Not sure about this.
anyone?Think Sunderland vs Newcastle. He didn't play for or against Durham last year and has never played for Durham before.
Apparently notanyone?
Perhaps but I can see a case for any of them having the slightly easier spot. With Lees and now Bancroft, I wonder if we’ll see Steel down at 3?
Bancroft played for Newcastle against Sunderland hence the clue by Durham "Played at The Riverside in 2017".anyone?
I think thats a fantastic signing
The lads a great bat and he’ll do anything he’s told (allegedly)
Industrial sander on its way
Certainly think he'll be able to take the rough with the smooth.I’ve heard that young Bancroft is certainly a smooth operator
