Despite being the 'difficult third album' it is another good listen. They are a cracking band and I'm off to the album launch gig in Wigan on Tuesday night. The Lathums new album is a solid 8/10 - they don't miss!
Couldn't find Panda Bear on Spotify yesterday. Just realised I had been searching for Polar Bear.Well, a) Panda Bear's album is bloody good b) Oknonksi's jazz piano album is lovely c) The Men are magnificent
Foot Foot have a shit name, but it’s a good album
Very interesting.Really interesting read on the costs involved in playing a gig for a mid sized band. Los Campesinos! detailing everything and explaining how they are losing money despite selling out and shifting a load of merch.

Thanks for this. I’d seen Fish break down the costs of touring on a similar article. The scary thing is that touring is one of the few ways that a band can make a bit of money these days but clearly not in their case.Really interesting read on the costs involved in playing a gig for a mid sized band. Just giving fixes in the snow a play through now, seems canny. Nothing jumping out immediately as a classic yet thoughJason Isbell's album is terrific (him plus acoustic guitar plus brilliant songs) and The Tubs' second album is a gem. Bob Mould is continuing his good form as well.
