The full Angles & Queens looks to be out in July. No idea what metacritic were talking about, assuming it's delayed.

The Orb album is decent. Usual mix of house, dub, downtempo and I’d say probs a bit more reggae than usual.

Surely it's the opposite of a Coldplay? They became increasingly mainstream. There's zero popular appeal this record, it's painfully one paced and dull. I love The National but think this one is a misstep.

Just feels like audio fresh air to me. Very meh.

I don't think there's any coincidence that The Mountain Goats have digitally re-released an old EP, Isopanisad Radio Hour, from 20-odd years ago, on Bandcamp today. The lead track is a version of Abide With Me, on the anniversary of our FA Cup final win. Only conclusion I can draw is the John Darnielle = MLF
