New Music Releases Thread


Listening to The Simps release which I really like. Came out a couple of weeks ago. Reminds me a bit of The Drums. Heard them on 6 Music thanks to Tom Ravenscroft last night and had it on repeat since.

1. The charts don’t get announced until next Friday
2. If you’re such a super fan how haven’t you heard it? Even I’ve heard it (my mate reckoned “it’s completely different, you’ll like it!” I didn’t - auto tune within 15secs of the first track)

Because I’m a traditionalist and won’t listen until my CD arrives. Thought it would have arrived yesterday. Gutted about it.

Pre-orders never arrive in time. My Frank Turner didn’t come until the Monday - it was purely for framing and putting in the garage conversion though, listened to it on streaming services.

I’m worried that it won’t come for ages because I got the signed photo with it. On social media people seemed to get the CD a day early.
