The food from the Tibetan kitchen are canny like. Saw them a couple of weeks agoStrangely enough I didn't see you either and I was in the Tipi for Dawes. Saw some of Money's set... seemed good, although one song late on was very U2. My highlights...
Eels - as above.
Night Beds - fantastic voice on the main man
Jens Lekman - most fun set of the weekend, the crowd turned it into some of badly coordinated disco line dancing thing
Public Service Broadcasting - as good as ever
The Barr Brothers - late night set in the Tipi on the Sunday, Low Anthemesque loveliness

Anything else new?
Lanterns on the Lake are superb. Seen them live 5-6 times and always great. Hazel is lovely tooNew Holy Ghost! album out now on Spotify, giving it a listen. Sounds exactly like the first album after a few tracks like.

Good stuff, I've only just properly got into the debut this week really, love it now so this album has come at the perfect time for me. They're playing Frankie's shop in a few weeks too, free of charge.
What is everyone else listening to at the minute? Got any gigs lined up?
I'm going to see Frightened Rabbit, Withered Hand, Let's Buy Happiness (x2), Money, Dutch Uncles and Lanterns on the Lake within the next month and a bit, looking forward to them!

I saw lanterns last week and thought they played an average set, first album is better, but still so cool. I have been raving about them for a long timeThey're playing again in Newcastle just after the free gig so if I'm impressed I'll definitely be going to see them again.
Where do you rank Trouble Will Find Me then Chunky, now that its been out a while?

Oh. The National. I really like it but its not a patch on Boxer or Alligator. I'm actually quite scared to see them live as last time I saw them (2007 ish) they bored the crap out of me
Volcano Choir hasn't hit me yet.
Excited about Neko Case
Bill Calahan wasn't yet on spotify when I checked. Will check out John WizardsNot heard the new Neko Case yet but still loving Volcano Choir.
New Bill Callahan album is ace as is the the Mark Kozelek and Desert Shore album. Also, the John Wizards album is weirdly enjoyable (sort of Afro bleep pop, they're from South Africa).

Richard Bucknor sounds good and Summer Camp is pleasant if nothing more
I have thatThere's a RIchard Bucknor track on the cover CD of the new edition of Uncut, which sounds decent.

CannyLittle bit of a disappointment I think after the two songs they released before the album, Teenagers in Heat isn't even on the album.
Off to see Chvrches, Los Campesinos, Frightened Rabbit, Little Comets, Splashh & Wet Nuns over the next few months. Thinking about Happy Mondays/Sunshine Underground, Public Service Broadcasting & Young Knives as well.
