New CEO appointed..

I still think it’s pretty clear what the crack is with FPP. They’ve given Stewey a loan so he try and get us up, he does that he sells the club on his terms at the price he wants. He fails, he runs out of dosh eventually and FPP pick up the club by default.

I just wish they’d get on board now, after all the trauma of recent seasons waiting for FPP to play the long game doesn’t really work for me, bugger all I can do about it of course, other than get more and more hacked off with SD.

Strange as I didn’t think Donald would fund new appointments especially in the current climate. We could be potientially playing games behind closed doors for the next year.

Also how they dissolved the company then weeks later the Derby investment story broke, it’s like they used that to potientially say to Donald we aren’t going to wait around forever.
Given the fallout from this its going to be all hands at the pump for the executive team and the fitness/conditioning teams for the foreseeable future. I think any appointments in this environment are surprising but if we were to make any appointments it makes sense they are in these roles.

It could also be them looking at thinking they could capitalise and get us back challenging in the championship a lot quicker and cheaper than first thought. Especially if a lot of clubs are struggling financially and need to sell there best players. I’m sure we will find out and it’s just complete guess work at the moment.

Would they not have got the club already if they really wanted to
Possibly/probably. Depends on what Donald is asking for. Talk of a £40m asking price is ludicrous. The reality is that the club is pretty much what was paid for it. Less if you have to also pay back the loan. It all depends on how long SD can hold out for his fantasy profit. If there’s an amount of rope left for Donald this could get very painful for the fans. Every day he is at the helm we get worse - and further away from the premier league.

The amount of money the Americans have doesn't matter if we are worth 30or 60mill if they want it

I’m not sure that’s the way those people will work. If you know that a failure like Donald is taking an unnecessary £30m out of you, Id imagine you’d be keen to slap him down - regardless of your wealth. At the end of the day that £30m could get us to the pl if used properly. Rather that than given to Donald for two years of f***ing up.

I’m sure that I read that the Americans stalled on lending Derby a County money last week, think it was because of the corona
