not now mate we used to be under the Consumer credit body years ago then it became the FCA but its controlled anymore.
Did the FCA merge with another body ? I just seem to remember a couple of them merging and having their remits changed, I’m probably getting confused with something else

They appear to be using some of the loan. But I’m like you I don’t understand why they have made these appointments when no money is coming in and everything is up in the air
Either they are using the loan or new investors/takeover is close. Just doesn’t make sense in the current climate. The club does seem to be doing things on the quiet now and not playing out to the media.

I think the loan marra, otherwise SD would be shouting everything from the rooftops. Has he told us that this CEO is great yet and his CV stands out? I don’t take any notice of him anymore

As the days and weeks go by the silence is deafing either SD has a buyer of FPP are willing to invest further but the longer it goes on the more I doubt that SD will sell the club and without investment the in the infrastructure of the club and a Manager who is capable of taking our club to the next level we will be entrenched in this league.

Well he did say he would do whatever is best for the club not himself. Mind I don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth, unless he thinks he is the best thing for the club. The whole club is a shambles, now I am not for one minute saying it wasn’t before he came along, but with the state of the academy and lack of scouts, the shape of the squad, he hasn’t made it any better

I now think he's not very good at reading a CV as he also claimed that about Parkinson's CV too or maybe his ambitions and expectations are set very low.

The statement from Jim Rodwell more or less confirms that SD is staying I would say -

On his arrival at Sunderland, Rodwell said in a statement: "I'm honoured and delighted to be joining a club of the stature and pedigree of Sunderland AFC.
From my very first meeting with the chairman, I was sold on his enthusiasm and passion for the club."

Can’t be man, Stewart is a man of his word, he said he was selling up so he is. I’m not sure why we shouldn’t believe him. Probably the previous other times he’s talked a load of f***ing shite. Of course he is here to stay in some capacity, he never had any intention of leaving and the club statement in January was full of self pity and blaming fans, yet here we are still no closer to any investment or signs that he is going to fuck off as promised
