The daughter's car the stop start doesn't operate if she has the air direction control set to the windscreen.
I'm guessing the car thinks you're demisting when you have the air directed at the screen so doesn't cut out.

To get in work at the main gate you have to swipe your card at security.
Streams of traffic, it's amusing listening to many. Stop, start. Move a cars length, stop. Start, move a cars length,
ad infinitum, 🤔🙄🤣


If I was in a traffic jam like a motorway smash and envisaged a long wait I'd turn it off via the key. 😁

Used to do that with mine on the commute. Have 3 restricted visibility crossroads I have to pass. With stop/start on, that little lag as it starts had me too close to being hit by c**ts coming out of nowhere as they fly into view at 80kph (ignoring the 50 zone around junction). 4 crashes on one of those crossroads last year, detour is a bastard.

It can be funny getting features your not used to. I got an auto last year and went up holy island. On the way back I pulled over to the side of the road for a second where it was sandy, when I went to pull away it just revved up as if the wheels where spinning, my heart sank and thought shite were stuck and the tides coming in. It's was only in neutral 🤣

Had a company car and gave my mate a go. He came back and said 'everytime I turn a corner the street lights come on'. I figured out later the car had cornering lights 🤣
