I don’t Brady and co are thinking league one or even championship for long. They’ll fuck up along the way, like appointing that imbecile Rooney, but I’ve no doubt they’ll learn quick and Brady doesn’t seem to be the type not to succeed, he will also have backers just wanting to hop into bed with him just because he’s Tom Brady.
Personally can only assume a lot of the income will come from stuff away from football initially as they build

Was great for the first fifteen years but needs modernising sharpish to keep up with the changing pace of expectation. Certainly within the next decade and especially around the south and east stand where the new developments will be springing up in the near future.

If we want international events and big concerts going forward (an important revenue stream) it needs to be done. Hopefully the owners have even a fraction of the ambition that Brum’s seemingly have for their infrastructure.

I’d argue work should have really started 5 years ago mate. Last year, the club were confident in getting Taylor Swift, but the gigs ended up in Liverpool - a stadium that has seen significant redevelopment over the last few years.

If the club aren’t careful, I can see them having real issues landing gigs in the coming years unless they invest in the ground.

They will want a multi purpose venue that will include Birmingham using it for football.

It’s all the rage now with new NFL stadiums.

Couldn’t agree more. I think it should have started during the Short era. But it’s imperative in the next decade (even just to stay comparatively decent for football let alone other events).

I think we’ve gone from a stadium and city landmark to be proud of to something that has become a bit of an eyesore from 3/4 of the viewpoints of it.
