Yep. Also have a 100% record on Thursday nights ;)

Remember us beating Palace away on a Monday night in 2014. Before that, Sky and other media outlets used to trot out the stat that we'd never won a game on a Monday since 19-whatever. It was wrong as we'd won both Championship games on Monday nights and Premier League games on Mondays (beat Leicester 2-1 on Easter Monday in 2002). It was obviously meant as 'Premier League on Monday nights' but that wasn't the line that was repeated. There's loads of stats that get parroted that are complete bollocks.

...if you go with 'football was invented in 1992' 1977 - that's long enough but it was a top flight game. Our Tuesday morning record is pretty poor too.

I think this is probably true. Friday night PL fixtures are only a recent thing g aren’t they? And that Man United game was in the day of proper Easter schedules. If I remember rightly it was Good Friday.

Yes it was (Good Friday), remember it well. The gossip was Mourinho saying we were gonna get hit for double figures……how wrong he was.
