Neil Killeen One day cup head coach

Plenty options.

Rushy
McAlindon
Doneathy - has been injured this season, but has been available for a while now
Borthwick
Maddinson
Trevaskis
Gibson
Bushnell
Salisbury
Drissell
Coughlin
Clark - he even took a wicket at Worcester

We will probably see young Mitch Killeen at some point also
I know you like Clark but if he is taking any significant part with the ball then we are in trouble. I think I would prefer Clarky to concentrate on batting at the top of the order and hopefully have a tournament like last year.
Does this start next week ?
Tournament starts Tuesday our campaign starts Thursday at South North against Surrey.

Thank you

I assume the free streams will be in play?

Oh agree but it's a last minute back up. He needs a good campaign with the bat. Looking forward to it. Hopefully Surrey turn up

I would hope he has got enough credit in the bank by what he has done in one day cricket over the past 2/3 years although he frustrated me in the T20 this season he is a better player than just getting a quick 20 and giving it away.

Surprised Dickson is still not fit enough to play after seeing him netting and jogging a week ago.. If I was a cynic I would say they are top heavy with senior batsmen and can't fit them all in.
Dickson had a setback with his injury last weekend - they had planned to play him v Middlesex this week. I'm sure after last years One Day campaign he'd be one of the first players on the teamsheet.

I agree. Some great innings, but didn’t he get out 3 or 4 times caught at square leg when he didn’t get hold of hook shots? Could have had even more runs!

May just be my memory deluding me again of course 😁

I just think if he had have converted some if those starts into 70s and 80s he probably would have got himself a hundred contract.

What Surrey lineup are we likely to see for the one dayers @TheRey
I'd imagine a strongish side. The likes of Patel (who was excellent in the comp last year), Burns, Smith, McKerr, Clark, Atkinson, Jacks etc.

I think we'll give it a good go. And there is a winning mentality around the side at the mo

We're currently playing Jacks as a spinning all-rounder in white ball, so I'd be surprised to see Virdi play. Our attack is the only thing that could be weak

I think there is a fair few of those players in the 100 the likes of Jacks Smith Burns and Clark.
