Going on last season's stats (for the CC) there's pretty much no difference between the two.
Going on last season's starts for the RLC they both did comparatively well but Richardson's stats are better.
Same number of games but Richardson scored 392 runs at 49 while Smith scored 266 at 33. Richardson 1 100 and 2 50's, Smith 1 100.
They're both useful white ball players. Neither are consistent red ball players but equally neither are shite at that level.
