Somewhere like Seaburn, Whitburn or Roker would do me and the wife fine, especially her, but for one thing. Sea fret.
Plenty of times, mainly as i drive to the match, heading towards Testos roundabout from the peoples republic of Wardley, i can sometimes drive from a sunny day into gradual murky cloud. Can see it up ahead. We don't get too many warm sunny days, so want to maximize them.
Other than the coast, i'd be happy semi-rural. Need a few pubs and places that do food, so Wylam, Corbridge, maybe even Newburn.
