sunderland fans just want to be in the fking game with half a chance of getting a result. when we scored yesterday it was like "oh, so this is what it feels like"
Yesterday's game would have been entertaining enough had we not been rooted to the bottom with a three month goal drought under our belts!

This we are going down without a fight, there's one thing a safc crowd won't have its lack of fight and effort.

But the facts are there, the changing of managers has worked in the past, it's had an affect on Swansea and Hull. It isn't about sacking too many managers mate, it's about appointing the right one in the first place. One who is still employed and one who can bring in his own staff to work with.

With regards his signings mate, aye they may not look the best but what would you want him to do? Go out and sign players on long deals who he doesn't know fully. Don't forget he had basically zero pre-season, a tiny squad that lacked quality. He got some lads in he knew which was good management in the summer. McNair looked decent but had horrible injury, Love is potential and Januzaj seemed a fantsatic signing but turns out he has a heart on a par with Borini. Winter transfer window, again we needed numbers as our injury list was horrific. He brought some lads in he knew. We lost Van Aanholt and tried for Ulloa and Naismith, but he wouldn't let SAFC be held to ransom. I honestly think he is the bloke to do the job. We've just been so poor for so long it needs to get worse to get better and by that I mean the championship

It was early but I remember saying he should go then. No-one can argue that it wouldn't have been the right decision.
The manner of defeat that day was disgraceful.

Gives us a chance to get rid of the egos and overpaid bell ends on the books, give some youngsters a chance and sign soome players who are hungry and want to play for SAFC. Look at Burnley, they've gone down twice under Dyche, but he's been given time and had improved the squad. They will stay up comfortably and have a chance to push on.

yes but Burnley fought to the bitter end mate, we are a f***ing shambles. I'm sure they've only been relegated once under Dyche mind, with 33 points too. He already had the luxury of a season and a half in the Championship. Moyes simply doesn't get the best out of players at his disposal and we aren't the first set of fans to say that, nor the second as it happens

Which players has he alienated? I know Khazri and Borini are two, but the common factor in those is they seem to play for personal glory. Saw that with Borini's celebration yesterday (should have grabbed the ball as we needed win) and Khazri's free kick in injury time. 30 yards out should have launched it in box not gone for top corner.

I disagree that McNair looked decent at any time mate, none of his signings have. Lescott, Pienaar are even a waste of a salary, he hasn't managed to find a better right back than Billy Jones

Khazri is a classic example and I wish he'd alienate Borini more. In hindsight alienate was the wrong word to use, but he certainly doesn't get players running through walls for him and there are a couple of posters on here who know people working within the club saying the same thing

Had on, we've been awful this season but we came back twice yesterday - that is fight. Our problem this season has not been lack of fight, imho, but lack of quality especially with the likes of Borini and Januszaj up front and a lack of talent and guile in the middle.

McNair looks half decent, good game down at QPR and didn't look any worse than the rest in the Premiership. Pienaar was clearly to get numbers in and Lescott has baffled me. He is cover for our cover, may aswell have given a youngen a few sits on the bench. TBF I think he addressed the right back with Manquillo, who seemed a good signing at time. Turns out he was not really cut out for England though, least we can send him back, past managers would have given him a 5 year contract

I'm not having ago at our fans - because frankly we have put up with so much shite it's intrue - but yesterday the players were trying and yet thousands still left early. I'd be shocked if there was 20,000 in the ground at the full time whistle.
