I honestly believe the board have decided that stability and a total rebuild is needed, rather than sacking another manager. They acknowledge there are problems and Moyes, rightly or wrongly, will get till Xmas to try and turn it around.

I'm also not sure if Moyes has had a huge impact on season card renewals. The majority I know have renewed.

Agree, a lot of people renew regardless and that has to be applauded. Agree about Moyes as well, just seems clear that he was told even if we were relegated he would have a job.

Totally agree mate and I think Moyes has seen this season as a "free hit".

If Moyes/Bain have a plan, and Short releases funds, it could work. That said, we need to see early arrivals into the squad! If we have to sell first, then I can see things going badly wrong and the present negativity rolling over into the start of next season.

I suppose we will just have to wait and see mate, although I suspect the cheap kids tickets will inflate the overall sales figures.

Mind, one thing we must stop at all costs next season is cheap match tickets. They have cheapened the whole experience.

All I'm sayings the lad started another thread with a quote that was 100% correct. Moyes, like all managers, acknowledge the right of fans to criticise and that criticism is often warranted. However, it came across as outrage from the OP when in reality what Moyes said was correct.
