Moyes Having A Go At The Fans

For the first time in a god awful season people voice they are pissed off and he rolls out the sarcasm

The guy is a busted flush man and everybody around the country can see it. For the sake of continuity we are persisting , but quite frankly he is a terminal dog that needs putting down.

We are going nowhere fast with this lunatic running the asylum , how are we meant to get behind the squad next year when the commander in chief is digging us out 4 months before it starts??

He is hopeless. Let him retire with his millions and fuck off

"They've had a lot of managers here and they've criticised everyone one of them."

f***ing wanker.

Aye cos they were all shite. And he's nee better. On the other hand we didbt want our last manager to leave and were firmly behind him. But as usual moyes takes the cynical negative approach to his tenure. Nearly time for him to go

To be fair, few of them have been given anywhere near the leeway he has, there are few sets of fans anywhere in the country who would not have been abusing their manager mercilessly after managing just 20 points in 32 games and having spent £30 million on utter shite..........Moyes has got away with murder, never had the highs of PDC, Poyet, MON to buy him good will and yet he has had it far far longer than any of them.

In general our support hasnt hounded any Manager out as much as we could have been justified by some of them. Even Moyes has had a lot of leeway.

Sums him up to be honest. An absolute arse clart. He deserves more criticism than any manager in recent memory due to his extensive catalogue of spectacular failures in a very short space of time

I hate to say it, but he is right.
So what?
Chelsea fans criticised Jose and he's won titles for them
Have you maybe noticed Arsenal fans criticising Arsene?
The Mags HATED Fat Sam, couldn't stand Carver, detested Kinnear, weren't exactly fond of SChteeve, and were obsessed with Pardew (in a negative way)
Everton fans come on here slagging Moyes, and they were delighted to get rid of Martinez,
I could go on but I can't be arsed!

He's right. He has however failed to mention that we've been completely justified in doing so every single time.
Which therefore means that no manager will succeed or ever be good enough for SAFC and it's support. I'm now - albeit reluctantly - beginning to see the obvious method in Ellis's perceived madness. Whether the four years lasts four years is another matter but it goes sone way toward explaining his thoughts.

If he said "they've had a go at other managers" he's right. Bruce was subjected to chants from the crowd as was Poyet, although the latter was very mild. If he said all other managers he's wrong.

I didn't hear any large scale chants directed at Keane, O'Neil, Advocaator even Di Canio, although in PDC's case he wasn't really here long enough.

Every manager in the country bar maybe Chelsea and Spurs will be subject to criticism - just look at Wenger for example, but it's when it becomes a significant number that turn against the boss it becomes a real issue.

For the crowd, or a large enough section of it to be clearly audible, start directing chants towards Moyes is a significant step - a few more poor results and the numbers will no doubt swell. It's when it becomes deafening that Short will have a decision to make.

He's not having a go at fans, what he's saying is fact, there are some who do criticise every manager

There were some on here wanting Sam out before we hit the good run

So what. There is a massive difference between people letting of steam on a message board to thousands of fans actually turning on the manager during a home game.

Tactically Allardyce was negative. He tried to draw every game we played. It was all about keeping clean sheets, yes we didn't get beat very often after January but we didn't win many either.
Moyes was left with a poor squad, he didn't improve it and it's now as unbalanced as it's ever been. I still think we should stick with him. He's been hamstrung by not being able to play a system that works to the advantage of most of the team.
Last season we were better when we were able to push up the pitch because Our back 4 had pace. When O'Shea played instead of Kone or Kaboul we were mostly crap!
I still think in most of the games this season we've actually tried, but individual errors cost us.
He's played a poor hand poorly. To go a bit political he's a bit like Gordon brown following Blair. Brown and Moyes should just be the angry Scots that they are rather than trying to hide their personalities from the media turning them into boring figures.

We have criticised managers, but football is a results business and if you're not getting the desired results, expect to take the flak that comes with it, its the reason you're paid handsomely.

I don't understand why managers think they should be immune from criticism, it's part and parcel of the job.
