Moyes Having A Go At The Fans

Agree - I just find the OP's outrage a bit rich when the quote he used was accurate. Moyes has created a lot of his own problems and deserves plenty of criticism but many fans on here and in footy in general are desperate to change managers at the first hint of trouble - look at people on here who wanted rid of BSA in Jan/Feb.

First hint of trouble, we are cut adrift? Moyse basically thru in the towel after the Boro game?

Moyes shows his desperation by mentioning past managers. He's getting stick for his performance, what's happened before is irrelevant.

Thing is since promotion I can only recall chants aimed at Bruce. No-one else.

and even then the Bruce out chants started when he lost the plot (and deep down he must of known this).

One of the problems with Moyes is the stupid things he says in the media? I also think Poyet did similar

No, because Sam had a plan.

I said this on here numerous times last year but the thing with Allardyce was that even when things were going badly you could always see what he was trying to do. Don't get me wrong, he had to tweak things here and there before he got it right and it wasn't all rosy, but his thought process was pretty evident and his signings at a total cost of £15m in January 2016 turned out to be superb. I was completely banging the drum on trying to keep Allardyce if we had gone down because of these factors.

With Moyes there's literally nothing that makes me confident that he can turn us around. He has been negative from the outset, poor with selections and tactics, poor in the transfer market. There's nothing.

Allardyce always said start with the defence and build from that. And that has worked for Palace. Talked yesterday to a few lads that unfortunately hodgeson did a shit job in the euros. And we paid the price

It will be linked to the criticism we dared to give the mighty Steve Bruce. Moyes has the same arrogant delusion. Clueless and all the more damaging because he can't see it.

every manager of every club has been criticised at some point...however when you are bottom of the league, have a team with seemingly no game plan or strategy and up until today hadn't f***ing scored for about 11 hours of football you don't come out and have a whinge about it
