Mowbray confirmed

Not really been following this, but it seems folk are pretty happy with Tony Mowbray? What's the general reason for that? I don't really know him from Adam, but he has a boring name and doesn't seem to have set any leagues alight previously.
The fan reaction towards him from previous clubs swung me like, I have to admit to being niave about him. I saw him as a dinosaur dour sought of bloke who played shit football, it seems I was 100% wrong and he's the complete opposite according to fans from Blackburn etc. Given how we've been dropped right in the shit by the Scottish snake 🐍 bar dragging it out and maybe taking a risk with an unknown coach or an expensive appointment like dyche this seems like the perfect middle.ground for where we are and the situation we've found ourselves in.

I don't particularly rate Mogga but I think he'd do a competent job in a stable club.

The problem is we quite clearly aren't. Costs cut to the bone across all areas, a paper thin squad filled with inexperience. No good will at all from the fans and arguably the players, who are not happy with losing Neil and how he was treated.

The odds are stacked against him in every way.

The way this whole situation has arose is concrete evidence of cracks being papered over, and Neil's ability to get more out of less.

2 year deal

Want to come round ours to cheer us all up?

Mate, people are right to be concerned and everyone can plainly see what is going on at the club
Which is ….

Twat leaves club because he doesn’t get his own way
Club replace him within 2 days after it’s official - with someone who has experience keeping teams steady in this league
Club linked with some exciting new talent as we feel our way around the Championship following 4 years in the wilderness

But the club shop isn’t always open, so Speakman is a w*nker and KLD is using us as a play thing so he can buy PSG next year

Aaaah right, get it now

This just seems overly negative to me like and has no real basis of fact. There seems some real unity between the players and fans for the first time in years. Only Neil has spoiled that. Mowbray is inheriting a young and exciting team and with a couple of more additions should be absolutely fine.

I think you’ll find you’re in a minority with these thoughts tbh, WMS levels of negativity.

There’s an element of our support who’d twist on 21.

l hope he does well, wouldn't have been my choice but if he can keep us playing at the level we have right now he has my support.
my worry is his points per game record is around 1.5 and we need better.
Sacked by Celtic after a 4-0 defeat, while they were 10 points behind Rangers
