Mowbray confirmed

EASIEST AND CHEAPEST AS USUAL. BIG STEP BACK.THIS BOARD IS TAKING SAFC NOWHERE FAST .THESE KIDS WONT LAST 5MINUTES IN THIS LEAGUE, ROSS STEWART STOKES NEW STRIKER WHEN IS CONTRACT IS UP NEXT SEASON
Do you not think he might have ambitions beyond such an average club as Stoke?

Those quotes have been lifted entirely out of context by someone with an agenda. He said that he studies a lot of other managers to see what he can learn. Gerrard was one example given, alongside Kopp, Guardiola, etc.
He says that he is hopeless at the admin side and that his assitant handles that so he concentrates on the football. Again, that is sensible division of tasks. In any company, you don't have the boss doing the lower-value tasks.

It is obvious that some people on here have judged him already and have an agenda. They almost want him to fail to confirm their own prejudiced view, rather than admitting that they know nowt and their opinion is not fact and has no real worth. I am quite prepared that I have no idea about him or his "philosophy". I am encouraged by the interviews that I have read and hope that his thoughts are transformed into good results on the pitch.
Yeah fair enough, I won't be judging him 'til the end of the season.

It's crazy to me that people seem happy for us to just make up the numbers for any length of time, let alone years. We're the biggest club in the championship (imo) so act like it; there's all sort of talk of how Mowbray done great for a few mid table finishes and an 8th with Blackburn. What no one mentione is Lee Johnson did exactly the same with Bristol City, and we know how rank average (at best) he is. Some mid tables and a peak finish of 8th. The quality of the championship is massively over estimated imo - even in our defeats this season I've seen nothing to suggest we have anything to fear and the that shouldn't be top half, towards the playoffs.
Spot on. There is nothing to fear in this league, our team has shown we can compete and this withiut new additions! Some of our support do not like showimg ambition amd like you say we ARE THE biggest club in the league.

agree, the Snakeman derailed it a little, but I still think we can do it, be fuuny as fuck if we go up and that bastard is left with Stoke

We nearly disappeared, and have been in L1 for four seasons after two terrible relegations. What level do you think we're punching at?

I look at our first 15 players, look at who we've managed to bring in and feel better about the next couple of years than I have in ages. No disrespect to our new manager but I'd love somebody like Farke, but I'd far rather have Mowbray than Coleman, Ross and LJ and I'm quite happy to spend a couple of years in the Championship if that gets us back on our feet and Mowbray helps build a solid base to push on from.

As much as I'd love to win the league, I'm not sure I'd want to be in the PL next season as a result of it - I look at what Forest are doing and shudder. Much rather take two or three years to get there with a squad that doesn't need a complete overhaul.

Painful as relegation is, on our current place, I'd rather do a Norwich than what Forest are trying.

any evidence he is chepa?> he has been managing in the championship for years contiously..he wont be chepaer than hiring say, a league two manager..

tbf there is some middle ground between the two, Norwich's tightness going into the most competitive league in the world was silly but this Forest spending spree is mental. If you go up, keep the core that got you there and add real quality and you have a chance
