Motogp 2019

Vale's announced his retirement. Feet up at the end of the season. Wonder if he'll go on to be full time director of VR46 in moto2 or what

I can’t see him retiring in a pipe and slippers style…
Nah wouldn't have thought so. He's got his race team, younger brother etc to keep him busy. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up as rider management with a bit TV work and invitational racing thrown in. Race Of Champions, the odd rally etc

He does seem head and shoulders above anyone that's come on the scene since Marquez (Marc that is, not Alex).

Hopefully he's got a decent (as in sensible) management team who know what's best for his career, not just theirs...
Another MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring, another red flag...the place doesn't seem particularly bike-friendly.

WTF...?

Jusr reading it on twitter. Seems an odd carry on. Wonder if Yamaha already have his replacement lined up and just want rid

Vinales is a perfect example of how talent alone will only take you so far in any sport. In 2016 he looked like the rider with the potential to become Marquez's biggest rival but he crumbles time and time again when faced with the slightest bit of adversity and clearly can't handle the fact that Quartararo has wiped the floor with him this year.

He is not being replaced this weekend and KTM have made some very quick signings.
He's away to aprilia isn't he? Definately will have pushed teams to hurry up and grab their targets if they know Yamaha are on the sniff
More shennanigans. Petronas pulling out of moto3 and moto2 as of the end of the season. Only going to run in the big class

That moment when six of them came onto the pit straight, 2 laps left, rain coming down, 5 come in to swap to wets (4 of them probably copying whatever Marquez did), and binder just says “fek it” and stays out and skates his way round. Fortune really does favour the brave. Fantastic moment.
