The location on the Hampshire Avon I have stayed and fished the same place.
Going again June next year.
Caught some cracking Chub 🎣

Wished they would have fished the Avon next to the fishing lodge.
Caught a few 7lb Chub from next to it and going to stay in it again next June.

The picture of my Lab Ted (ironic) was taken on the veranda where they were both sitting. Plenty of Rudd and Roach in that pond as well.
Beautiful place.
 
Watched the first episode lastnight, very good and very relaxing

That Jimmy guy i've watched before with Robson Green on fishing tv shows

Ted is looking old and Bob's fall was class

The dates don't add up thou as they said it was Paul's birthday the first day and 2nd day was the day before Bob's birthday, but they were born nearly a week apart
 
Mortimer is one of those people we want or should aspire to be
He effuses warmth and friendship and inclusiveness
No airs and graces and happy to laugh at his own expense
He is obviously a very very funny person with an eye and nose for the absurd
He is very smart ( qualifying and practising as a solicitor is no mean feat )
He is proud of his roots

What a wonderful warm and deep human being he is.
Less fishing on Sunday night but all about friendship and looking back in time.
Bloody hell it’s what I do everytime I’m fishing.
I absolutely adore this programme and wish it was on for longer. The production team get it spot on with camera shots and music as well.

After a manic weekend i watched it for first time in ages before bed sun n slept better than i tend to on a sun.
Might make it a nightly routine 😂
 
Started rewatching them all a few weeks ago, I didn't realise the catch phrase " and away!" didn't come in until well into the series.

Ted doesn't look well.
