Yep merc sprinter loads leaving everyday. God knows how they get away with it as Norwegian customs are shit hot at everything else.

Only started watching at Christmas, now reached season 5. Easy to watch listen to. Enjoyed the Fergal Sharkey one which played out with " a good heart these days is hard to find" . Brilliant.

Started this thread a while ago, haven't really watched it since, seen the snippets over the years, love Bob and Paul, they have such a great relationship. Glad to see it take off though, didn't expect it to be this big.

Just got back from bodo yesterday.
Fishing was really hard with not many fish about.
We had some big fish between us though. Cod upto 36 lb and halibut upto 160/170.
Weather was about 8 degrees first week with no snow to -15 the week after with two foot of snow
Seen the northern lights a few times aswell so could have been worse.

We had some good fish mate but the fishing was really hard.36lb cod and 170lb halibut - that’s some big fish.

We went about 4 days without a fish. People see the results and think it’s easy but it’s anything but. Especially in that weather.
There was a big lack of cod. Not sure if too much feed in the water for them or if they’d moved into deep water to spawn but that’s the way it is.
We had some decent ling between us aswell upto 20 lb.
It’s an amazing country like. Even if the fishing is shit the scenery is something else
I'll be watching this on Sunday BBC 2 8pm

The river Wear in Weardale used to be packed with brown trout when I was a lad. Hardly ever see them today.

Criminal acts need directing to the CEO’s.
Local River a mile away from us, the Cherwell has the same. We had a little fishing club and found loads of dead fish all caused by sewage pumped into the river.
The Environmental Agency stocked it for us but we were wasting our time. Was cheaper for Thames Water scumbags to pay for a few fish rather than stop polluting the river.
Club no more, fish stocks depleted.
Wrong at every level.
We managed to get gravel spawning beds put down, in a year that ‘Green slime” all over the river bed, I’ve put Barbel in that river, used to watch big chub swimming about. Not seen one for years.
Otter introduction absolute madness when fish stocks can’t be sustained. No idea.
